Unique 72" High Leaning Ladder Style Magazine or Book Shelf Review. For the price, these are great bookshelves. The side columns are real wood and I think the shelves are particle board with a wood grain veneer. The instuctions say you need two people to put one together, but I did it by myself with no problem. I bought two and they were together in 3 hours. The bottom shelf has a support leg for heavy objects which is easily installed or removed. I'm using them more for display purposes so overloading the shelves doesn't wory me.

These are assembled very easily, all by yourself. They arrived 3 weeks earlier than promised (I bought 2). They look very nice, are very functional, and are easily portable. Mine arrived with no defects, as has been reported by others. I'm very happy with them.On the downside, the wood is rather soft, and load bearing strength is unknown. I may buy two more, after I live with these for a few months. They are very convenient

When ordering, I wasn't sure this bookshelf would provide exactly what I needed, but I have been pleasantly surprised! It's a beautiful piece and is probably my most favorite piece of furniture in my living room. It holds plenty of books without the shelves sagging or any groaning/creaking. It even comes with wall mounts for those that need it secured due to children or rambunctious animals. Took me about an hour to put together by myself. The piece is not a heavy weight item but not lightweight and cheap feeling either. The pre-drilled holes for the bottom two shelves are a little off - 4th shelf angles slightly down and 5th shelf up - but it's not glaringly obvious. The finish looks great and it doesn't seem to ding, flake, or scratch too easily.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this product!

i love this shelf, it was an affordable way to add style to my family room. it's sturdy and easy to assemble, the instructions suggested 2 people for assembly and i did it myself, it took about 45 min. i was hesitant to purchase furniture online, but i'm glad i did.
